VACATON BIBLE SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS

VBS registration is currently only available via the waiting list. We can only get these kiddos to VBS with your help! We are in need of 70 crew leaders for VBS week. We cannot clear the wait list because we don't have enough leaders! Please pray about whether you can directly impact the lives of these children for VBS and volunteer HERE!

Another way to help is by the Amazon Wishlist! Help us make VBS available for all kids by donating crafts, snacks and supplies! We also welcome monetary donations to purchase crafts, supplies and snacks to fuel this great big journey. With your donation, hundreds of kids will get to hear about a BIG God who loves them more than they could ever imagine.

CORNERSTONE MEN'S BIBLE STUDY

Join the men of Grace beginning TONIGHT for a new Thursday night Bible study. We’ll gather for dinner at the church at 6 p.m., with the study beginning at 7 p.m. We'll be meeting weekly in MT201. Together, we’ll explore how Old Testament prophecies are fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All men, high school age and up, are invited. WOMEN'S SUMMER BIBLE STUDY

Join us each Tuesday morning from June 16-August 4 in MT 201, from 10 a.m.-noon, for the summer morning study, Angels: Finding Hope in God Who Reigns over Heaven and Earth, by Melissa Spoelstra.

The Bible speaks of angels often. Throughout the story of the Bible, they appear to people with messages, encouragement, and tangible help. Despite their frequent appearance in God’s Word, our impression of angels is more often shaped by the myths and misconceptions that have developed over the centuries. We'll explore Scripture from Genesis to Revelation to learn about angels—who they are, what they do, and what they have to do with you. There's no reason to fear or ignore what's happening in the supernatural, unseen realm—we can live with confidence that God is in control of it all. This Bible study is a call to put your hope in the God of angel armies who reigns over heaven and earth!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit—We celebrate what God is doing!

During worship on April 26, we welcomed our Confirmation class who are now officially Covenant Partners of Grace Presbyterian Church. Beginning early in the year, each member of the class paired with an adult mentor to guide them through the process, meeting together one or twice a month and sharing questions and answers about all aspects of faith and what it means to be a part of a church. It is a beautiful expression of how Grace strives to see all generations share life together in community as together we serve His purpose. We are so proud of the commitment shown by these young people and welcome them to the life of Grace!

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES

The New Testament is here! On May 8, the reading plan has us jumping into the Gospel of Matthew. The complete summer reading plan is available in the church lobby and online HERE. You can do this! Or if you have lost steam, this is a perfect place to start up. Whatever your situation, nothing will benefit you more than diving deeply into God's transforming Word.

HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!

This Sunday, The Bible in a Year study turns the page into the New Testament, this week looking into Matthew 6:25-34. It is Mother's Day and we will have a full worship service, including recognizing our graduating seniors, a Children at the Chancel time, and of course, we'll be celebrating moms and the other significant voices in our lives. See you at 9:30 a.m.! And drop by the Welcome Center to the flower bar to grab two or three stems to let the special women in our lives know how loved they are by our heavenly father.
