  1. IMPACT REPORT
  2. Just what has God been doing so far in 2025? Glad you asked! Last week, you received an email from Grace with the subject line of "Impact Report January-April 2025." We hope this report will be a great source of inspiration as you can see all of the many ways God is moving through the people of Grace Presbyterian Church. Please take a moment if you have not already done so and just count the number of lives impacted through worship, equipping, service, and just being together as God's family. Then prayerfully consider where God may be calling you to be more involved in the Rhythm of Grace!

You may also view the report as a PDF HERE.

  3. POP'S CORN BAR
  4. Sunday is Father's Day and we want to celebrate dads and the important men in our lives! Guys, following worship, stop by the "Pop's Corn Bar" in the Café area to grab a delicious snack. There will be different toppings and mix-ins to customize your little treat. And it's okay not to share with the kids this time!

  5. WOMEN'S SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
  6. Join us for our summer morning study, The Names of God: His Character Revealed. Each Tuesday morning from June 17-July 22, we will explore many of the names of God found in the Bible like Elohim, El Elyon, Yahweh, Abba, and many more. Each lesson stands alone, so come and go as your summer schedule allows! This study will help you know God personally as you learn about His character. The more you discover His heart toward you, the more you can trust Him with the issues you face every day. You’ll be drawn into deeper love and greater worship of the God who sees you and knows you by name.

The study meets Tuesday mornings from at 10 a.m.-noon in MT 201.

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

We are on the last day of another amazing week of Vacation Bible School! God has been moving mightily throughout the week, touching the lives of the children and leaders alike. Continue to pray that the spark that may have been lit will soon burn brighter, because of the 660 kids that are here, 83% (553) are not Grace members, and 41% (274) of the kids listed no church affiliation at all!

We are thankful for the 150 teens and 185 adult volunteers who have been sharing a big part of their week with VBS, and the numerous behind-the-scenes folks working tirelessly over the last weeks and months to make this week the best of the summer.

The kids have been busy this week serving our neighbors with donations! The money donated to Change 4 Change throughout the week will go to further programs at Mission Waco (where our Middle School students will be serving on their mission trip in July). In addition, we are collecting board games for kids and coloring books for boys and girls at Mission Waco. Finally, the children are also bringing food items to help the food pantry at West Houston Assistance Ministries. The amounts donated so far has been amazing, and we haven't even added the Thursday totals yet!
Food for WHAM: 547 items
Games: 89 board games
Books: 134 coloring books
Change 4 Change: $538.18

Intersect students are excited to partner with Family Legacy to pack meals for the children of Zambia. Through Wednesday, they have packed an astounding 21,800 meals total! Their goal on Thursday is 13,200 more!

__________

We often hear about “time” as one of the aspects of Generous Living. An easy way to contribute your time is to consider joining the team of ushers at Grace. This necessary service provides a rewarding opportunity to meet and greet the members of the family of Grace. Please reach out to Harold Silver (713-304-0436) or Richard Raines (281-658-8114) with questions or to express an interest in serving as an usher.
