There’s never a dull moment in our Older Adult Encore Ministry! Through classes, outings, and serving inside Grace and outside throughout the community, our older adults are deepening their spiritual maturity as disciples and sharing their wisdom with younger generations. Whether you’re a retiree, single, married, still working, a member of Grace or not, we welcome you to journey with us. 

EPIC Courses

We recognize everyone is on a journey to become a fully-formed disciple of Jesus Christ. Whether you have just begun this journey or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to meet you where you are. Disciples are hand-crafted, not mass produced, and there is no one-size fits all strategy for discipleship.

The EPIC Tracks and Courses have been extremely well received since the launched in January 2021. We have had over 145 people participate and many have taken multiple courses with 300 total registrations.

COVENANT
Primarily Empty Nesters in their 50’s – 60’s. This is a small group of men and women studying different passages each week with fellowship and bible study. Meets in the McKechnie Dining Room.

FOUNDATIONS
Primarily parents of young children seeking to impart practical, relevant, and Biblical wisdom as they support each other on the journey of parenting and strive to build a strong foundation in their homes. Meets in Learning Center 207 A&B.

HORIZONS
A group of adult believers who through fellowship, study, and prayer, provide loving support to one another and gather for socials. We explore the word of God through videos and lively discussions. All are welcome no matter what level of understanding you may have. Meets in the Molly Ann Smith Building.

JOURNEY
A welcoming, Generation X-age (born 1965-1980) group studying the Bible and faith, using discussion, videos, and rotating teachers to foster spiritual growth and fellowship, aiming for practical application of scripture to real life. Meets in Sanctuary Building 108 (Handbell Room)

SEEKERS
This inter-generational class shares God’s Word in a smaller group setting around the table. Meets in Massey-Tucker Hall 3rd Floor Large Conference Room.

VOYAGERS
A larger, inter-generational class with Biblically-based presentations that cover both general topics and deeper studies of books of the Bible. Meets in Massey-Tucker Hall C.

Discipleship Groups

Grace has a rich history of a variety of groups that have cultivated gospel centered community. These have all been significant opportunities and experiences to foster community with others. Through these groups, we have discovered that people have a great need for an environment of 3-5 people for even deeper spiritual growth and maturity. Disciple Groups are part of our church mission and vision plan to be a community focused on growing disciples who make other disciples. Please contact Ramone Gahona for more information.
