EPIC Courses Spring 24

Two E.P.I.C. courses are underway, but you may still register and join in on Sunday! Please review the two offerings below to determine which one would help you further develop as a disciple.

Confronting Jesus: At one point in the Gospels, Jesus asks his followers, "Who do you say that the Son of Man is?" If you asked this questions to neighbor or a coworker you would get a variety of responses. In the Gospels, Jesus very next questions is, "But who do you say that I am?" This is the most important question any of us can ask ourselves or others. This course will help us explore the life of Jesus through the four Gospel books of the New Testament to gain a better understanding of who Jesus really is and how Jesus forms our life of faith. We will examine nine characteristics of Jesus to learn more about him and share his truth with others in a fresh way. For more information contact Ramon Gahona. Register HERE.

Live Differently at Work: Do you ever wonder: Do I need to work in a non-profit or full-time ministry to do work pleasing to God? How do I live like Jesus and maintain my competitive edge in the workplace? How do I keep from feeling like life is slipping by? I feel like something is missing, but what? We’ll wrestle with all the above questions and more as we dive into God’s Word to discover His plan for our work. This will be a roll-up-your-sleeves, focused, eight-week sprint using books, podcasts, and other resources from current thought leaders to discover God’s plan for how we spend our time Monday–Friday. By the end of the course, our prayer is that we will recognize that one can glorify God in our jobs and work and commit to God’s plan for how we should work. In doing so, we’ll discover work that glorifies God and provides us a sense of purpose, discover where God has placed a calling on our lives, and utilize the spiritual practices learned through the class as a means to draw closer to God.
